- Transitional taper ensures there are no steps in the flow path and minimizes pressure losses or drops to the manifold. Straight bore adapters create abrupt transitions and reduce manifold pressure.
- Bull-noses catch the MSD seal only where needed, allowing air to flow smoothly over screw locations while matching the contour of the MSD snout throughout the flow path.
- Proper sealing gland design and low compression set silicone seal ensure long-term durability and function. Prevents O-ring compression set and loss of sealing performance over time.
